i woke up this morning only to find that the thing that i have been fearing most for the last week or so had happened. my cell phone had been shut off by Verizon. couldn’t have been in better timing either. so i put together some money i have had around my house and start driving down to wamu. sweet. i am also out of gas, so i pull into a chevron close to my house and was shocked to find that i was greeted with “hello sir how are you doing today and welcome to chevron!”…what the fuck? it caught me so of guard i didn’t even know what to say. half of the mama and papa stores around here don’t even greet you in this matter let alone large gas station chains. usually the person working behind the counter is just some punk teenager who is too busy texting there bff jill, or are an overweight pissed off 45 year old, too mad at the world to actually have a real conversation with you let alone say hello. After buying some water and putting some gas on pump 2 the lady proceeded with her genuine happiness by saying “thank you very much for your time and your business, i hope you have an amazing day.” i couldn’t believe it. this lady actually just made my day a little bit better by just being nice.

touche cheveron, now keep on lowering the gas price and ill walk into every gas station and treat everyone the way that lady treated me.
